Welcome, Coach Golston!

Welcome to the KC Goats Head Coach Dorsey Golston III!

Dorsey Golston III was born and raised in Kansas City. He continues to live in Kansas City today. The only thing that matches his love for the Kansas City community is his love for the game of football.

Dorsey graduated from Southeast High School and was named All State, All District, All-Conference and All Metro his Junior and Senior years. He was also League MVP.

Dorsey earned a scholarship to the University of Wyoming where he was recognized as an All-Mountain West player as a senior, being second only to former NFL player Eric Weddle in interceptions.

Dorsey was invited to try out with the Kansas City Chiefs following his college season, but his NFL career never gained traction, leading him to a career in professional indoor football.

He started his career with the Colorado Ice of the IFL, where he was named a 1st Team All-Star in 2008. He went on to play for several other indoor football teams to finish his indoor career.

After a well decorated playing career, Dorsey transitioned into his life as a football coach and received his first position as the Defensive Backs Coach at his alma mater, Southeast High School. Dorsey also boasts professional coaching experience as he has also been an Assistant Coach and Coordinator for multiple arena football teams.

Dorsey is the current Defensive Backs Coach at Lees Summit West High School under the leadership of Head Coach Willie Horn.
